The southeastern region, particularly Noakhali and Feni districts, faced severe impacts. Despite challenging weather conditions and disrupted communication systems during the disaster, the Bangladesh Air Force executed emergency rescue operations, distributed relief, and provided medical assistance with remarkable professionalism using helicopters and UAVs.

In the wake of the floods, swift rehabilitation efforts were launched under the Air Force’s guidance. Comprehensive development activities were carried out in affected educational institutions, orphanages, places of worship, and roadways. Educational supplies and furniture were distributed to students to facilitate their return to school.

Considering local needs, a two-story building called Shaheen Bhaban has been constructed at Habib Ullah Khan High School in Durgapur, built on a four-story foundation, which can also be used as a shelter during disasters.
These projects were implemented by Air Force Base Bashar and Air Force Base AK Khandaker in Dhaka.
The event was attended by the Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Administration), Air Commander of Air Force Base Bashar, other senior military officers, Feni Deputy Commissioner Md. Saiful Islam, District Police Superintendent Habibur Rahman, government officials, teachers and students of various educational institutions, and local dignitaries.
