B.Mirror Desk: Modhumoti Bank PLC has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to participate in the Tk. 3000 Crore Export Diversification Refinance Scheme. The signing ceremony was held at the Head Office of Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Mr. Md. Shafiul Azam, Managing Director of Modhumoti Bank, and Mr. A.K.M. Nurunnabi, Director of the Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Under this agreement, Modhumoti Bank PLC. will be able to extend financing facilities at a concessional interest rate of 7% p.a. to export-oriented industries under the refinance schemes of Bangladesh Bank, which will contribute to export diversification.
