Tk 500 Crores Traded on Index Surge

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s main stock market, concluded trading on the third working day of the week with a rising price index. In addition, the DSE’s trading volume rose to Tk 500 crore today in terms of taka.

Sources claim that the Dhaka Stock Exchange’s primary index, DSEX, rose 17.76 points on Tuesday, February 11. At the moment, the index has 5,192 points.

Furthermore, today saw a 3.49-point increase in the DSES index and a 1.83-point increase in the DSE-30 index.

The DSE saw trading of Tk 519 crore 55 lakh 26 thousand today. Tk 420 crore 65 lakh was exchanged the day before.

On the nation’s primary stock exchange, 399 shares and units of 65 companies were exchanged today. Of these, 216 companies’ share prices did not change today. Today, the remaining 119 companies’ prices dropped.
