B Mirror Report: In anticipation of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, it has been decided to keep all stores, businesses, and shopping centers closed on February 11 and 12 throughout the nation, including Dhaka. On Saturday, a press statement from the Bangladesh Shop Owners’ Association made this announcement.

The press release stated that the 13th National Parliamentary Election and a referendum will be held next Thursday, February 12. The government has declared a general holiday on February 11, the day before the national parliamentary election. Election day (February 12) is already a general holiday. The following two days, Friday and Saturday, are weekly holidays. Consequently, there will be several consecutive holidays surrounding the election.
