Janata Bank PLC held its 897th meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday to discuss key operational issues, including the recovery of classified default loans.
The meeting was chaired by Board Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman.
Board directors Badre Munir Ferdous, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Dr. Md. Shahadat Hossain, Md. Ahsan Kabir, and Prof. Dr. A. A. Mahbub Uddin Chowdhury attended the meeting. Managing Director Md. Mujibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman were also present.
During the meeting, the board reviewed strategies for recovering classified default loans and discussed other important matters related to the bank’s operations and future course of action.
