Kazi Rezai Karim’s 6th death anniversary today
Today, 10th of September, is the 6th death anniversary of language movement activist Kazi Rezai Karim. On this occasion, feeding the poor and special prayer will be arranged at Kanchpur of Sonargaon in Narayanganj district, said press release.
He was the youngest son of Molvi Yasin Kazi Sahityaratna, a senior member of the erstwhile Kolkata Bangiya Muslim Parishad.
When he was a student of class ten, Karim was arrested in Narayangnaj in February in 1952 for organizing procession of language movement.
