B Mirror Desk : Professor Muhammad Yunus, the nation’s chief adviser, stated on Monday that the country needs peace in order for people to live and travel without fear.
“In Bangladesh, maintaining peace is crucial. We must never lose sight of it. We desire national peace. He declared, “We want peace for the country and for the entire world.”

The Chief Adviser made the comments while addressing dignitaries on Eid during a gathering at the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in Tejgaon.
There were journalists, members of civil society, members of the National Consensus Commission, political leaders, advisers, and the heads of the three services.
In order to advance the country and bring about peace, Dr. Yunus advised everyone to keep the message of Eid-ul-Fitr in mind.

This year’s Eid holds significant importance as it presents an opportunity for us to strengthen our bonds and reduce our divisions, fostering unity within our nation and society. Achieving this unity is essential at this time, he remarked.

Dr. Yunus stressed the importance of demonstrating tolerance and cultivating amicable relationships among one another.

In a brief address to the diplomats in English, the Chief Adviser highlighted that this day symbolizes the unification of the nation and its people, enabling them to bridge gaps and reconcile differences to foster collective harmony.

He emphasized the necessity of this unity, particularly in the current context, stating, “I trust you will assist us in fostering this unity and progressing together. Bangladesh is worthy of more.”

The Chief Adviser expressed optimism about Bangladesh’s untapped potential for a bright future, stating, “We aspire to explore and realize that future. The journey towards this begins with unifying and strengthening our nation to advance. Let us embark on this path together.”
