B Mirror Desk: For the month of April, there will be no changes to the prices of petroleum fuels. According to a statement from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, the nation’s retail fuel prices will stay the same under the current pricing system.
Consequently, the pricing of gasoline will stay at Tk.122.00 BDT per liter, octane at Tk.126.00 per liter, and diesel and kerosene at Tk.105 per liter. As of April 1, 2025, these rates will be in effect.
According to an Energy and Mineral Resources Division directive, the decision was made to guarantee a supply of fuel at a relatively low cost for April 2025, in accordance with the pricing formula that automatically modifies fuel prices each month in response to changes in international markets.
