Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of the leading conglomerates of Bangladesh, has entered 50 years. On this occasion, on Sunday (January 5), a casual ceremony was organized at MGI’s head office located in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Chairman and Managing Director of MGI, Mustafa Kamal said, “In every step of MGI, our aim is to contribute to the economy of the country and create employment.” As a symbol of trust and quality, we are constantly working to support the efforts to improve the quality of life of people.

MGI’s Vice Chairman, Board of Directors members and senior officials of the organization were also present. The event at the head office was broadcasted to various MGI factories and offices through video conference.

As a part of the programme, all officers and employees of MGI wore special t-shirts commemorating 50 years at their respective workplaces. Special decorations, arches and photo booths have been set up at various MGI offices, factories and depots across the country. Special communications to mark the 50th anniversary have been broadcast on various important places in the capital Dhaka and on various MGI billboards across the country. Special campaigns have also been launched on social media platforms.
