Raihan MymensinghCorrespondent: Under the overall guidance of the competent Superintendent of Police of Mymensingh district, Kazi Akhtar ul Alam, the Bhaluka Model Police have unraveled the mystery of the sensational murder case of a mother and two children in Bhaluka Upazila of Mymensingh. Within 30 hours of the incident, the main accused Md. Nazrul Islam (22) was arrested by SI Md. Aminul Haque under the leadership of OC Md. Humayun Kabir of Bhaluka Model Police Station.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Abdullah Al Mamun gave this information at a press briefing organized at the district police superintendent’s office on Wednesday (July 16) morning.
On July 14, police recovered the bodies of a woman and her two children with their throats slit from a house in the T&T Road area of Ward No. 7 of Bhaluka Municipality. The deceased were identified as Mosha. Moyna Akhter (25), her daughter Raisa (5) and son Nirob (2). Immediately after the incident, the police started an investigation and arrested the killer Nazrul Islam from Joydevpur area of Gazipur through modern technology and detective work.
