On October 27, 2024, the 1st meeting of the newly formed Executive Committee of Union Bank was held at the Head Office of Union Bank PLC, Gulshan-1, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Farid Uddin Ahmad, Honorable Chairman of the Executive Committee of Union Bank Plc. Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir and Dr. Executive Committee members were present.

Shahidul Islam Zahid and the bank’s managing director (ongoing duty) Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed. Every day people of different professions are opening new and different types of deposit accounts in the bank and transacting as existing ones. The Executive Committee expressed its satisfaction and thanked the people and appreciated their trust in Union Bank and requested for continued trust.
