Rail services along the Dhaka-Mymensingh route have been interrupted due to a fire that broke out in the power carriage of the Mohua Commuter Train in Sreepur, Gazipur.

According to Mohammad Mamun, the Deputy Assistant Director of the district’s Fire Service, the incident occurred at the Satkhamair Rail Station around 10:30 AM on Thursday.

Fortunately, there were no immediate reports of injuries.
