PE Ratio Rises Amid Renewed Investor Optimism

On the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s primary stock market, the overall price-earnings ratio (PE ratio) rose during the final week of July (July 27–31). The PE ratio of the DSE rose by 2% during the relevant period.

The weekly market assessment published by the DSE disclosed this information.

Based on the available data, the DSE’s PE ratio started the previous week at 10.31 points. And the PE ratio is 10.51 points at the end of the week. Consequently, the DSE’s PE ratio rose by 0.2 points, or 2%, during the course of the week.
