No Sacrifice on U.S. Tariffs Negotiations: Press Secretary

Shafiqul Alam, the press secretary for the Chief Advisor, stated that the agreements reached with the United States are in fact non-disposable (non-disclosure). It is impossible to say right now, despite the fact that a lot is known. But there was no military accord, and no compromise was reached at the expense of Bangladesh’s interests. Government success.

He made these remarks on Friday morning, August 1, at his home on Bailey Road in the capital.

Shafiqul Alam reacted to the US lowering the counter-tariff rate on Bangladeshi goods by claiming that the US imposed the 20 percent tax with no further requirements. We will simplify as much as we can.

Additionally, he stated that we are not falling behind in our trade because we have similar tariffs with competitive countries. In addition, trade risks are also decreasing.
