B Mirror Desk: Publicly listed pharmaceutical company Orion Pharma Limited has announced that it will not distribute any dividend to its shareholders for the financial year ended June 30, 2025.
The decision came during a board of directors meeting held on Tuesday (November 11), following the review and approval of the company’s audited financial statements for the year, according to a company disclosure.
As per the report, Orion Pharma incurred a consolidated loss of Tk 1.77 per share in the latest financial year, a sharp decline from a profit of Tk 1.36 per share in the previous year.
The company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 86.09 as of June 30, 2025.
Orion Pharma also announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in a hybrid format on December 23 at 4:45 PM, with December 4 set as the record date for shareholders.
The company did not specify reasons for the loss, but market analysts suggest higher production costs and reduced export earnings may have contributed to the decline in profitability.
