New trade advisors committed to working to make life easier.

I don’t expect any magic from you. We will work together. You will find me as an associate.Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashir Uddin, who took the new responsibility, expressed his commitment to work to make life easier for the people of the country as a whole. He said this in a discussion meeting with officials at the conference room of the Ministry of Commerce on Monday (November 11) morning.

Earlier on Sunday (November 10) evening as an advisor to the President. Sheikh Bashir Uddin took oath to Sahabuddin. Later he was given the responsibility of advisor to the Ministry of Commerce. Today was his first working day in the ministry as an advisor after taking charge.

The trade advisor said, as a result of inflation, the amount of our money has increased, the purchasing power has not increased, but the purchasing power has decreased. If we look at a worker there is a compromise in his quality of life. Sheikh Bashir Uddin said to the officials, I am not expecting any magic from you. We will work together. You will find me as an associate. I will try to the best of my ability to make your work more effective.

He said, if we can increase trade, if we can apply our maximum skills, then it is possible to do well. I expect extra effort from officials. The adviser assured that he will work with the officials.

Ministry of Commerce Secretary Moha. Salim Uddin, Additional Secretary (Administration) Kazi Mozammel Haque, Additional Secretary (Export) Mohammad Naveed Shafiullah, Director General of Trade Organization Division. Abdur Rahim Khan, Additional Secretary WTO Division Dr. Senior officials of the ministry including Nazneen Kawsar Chowdhury were present at the time.
