On the second working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in a positive trend. The main index increased by 14 points in the first two hours of trading on this day.
According to sources, two hours after the start of trading of DSE that is till 12.30 noon on Sunday (November 10), the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 15 points and stood at 5 thousand 283 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ has increased by 2.10 points and the ‘DS-30’ index has increased by 1.05 points and stands at 1177 and 1954 points respectively.
A total of Tk 300 crore 46 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period. During the same period of the last working day, 230crore 72 lakh taka were traded.
Among the traded companies, the share prices of 150 companies increased, 167 companies decreased and 67 companies remained unchanged.
