Mobile court drives in Jhenaidah to evict illegal establishments and clear footpaths

HM Imran Jhenaidha Correspondent: A mobile court drive has been conducted in Jhenaidah to evict illegal establishments and clear footpaths.

On Thursday afternoon, Executive Magistrate Mohammad Salek Muhid led the eviction drive on behalf of the district administration in collaboration with the Jhenaidah Roads Department.

He was accompanied by Assistant Engineer of the Roads Department, Ahsan Ul Kabir.

The mobile court was conducted with all types of eviction equipment, including the police, in the drive to evict illegal establishments.

At this time, shopkeepers were ordered to vacate the illegally occupied footpaths. The mobile court also gave a verbal warning of eviction and fines if the illegal establishments were not removed on their own responsibility.

Executive Magistrate of the district administration Mohammad Salek Muhid said that this campaign of this mobile court will continue in the public interest to evict illegal establishments and keep the footpaths free from encroachment.

Executive Engineer of the Jhenaidah Road Department Md. Hafizur Rahman said that this campaign will continue with the cooperation of the district administration to keep the various illegal establishments and footpaths built on both sides of the road free from encroachment and to ensure smooth traffic movement during the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
