Mercantile Bank PLC organized ‘Risk Conference 2024’. Md Mezbaul Haque, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest. Md Anwarul Haq, Chairman of the Board, and Mohammad Abdul Awal, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, spoke at the conference as guests of honor. M. A. Khan Belal, Chairman of the Executive Committee, M Amanullah, Sponsor Director, and Mati UL Hasan, Managing Director of the Bank, spoke at the meeting as special guests. Mahmuda Haque, Joint Director, and Robin Chandra Paul, Deputy Director from DOS (Division-2) of Bangladesh Bank, conducted the session as resource persons.

Md. Zakir Hossain, DMD and CRO (acting) of the bank delivered his welcome speech, and Md Nasim Alam, SVP and DCRO (acting), gave his vote of thanks. Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed and Ashim Kumar Saha, DMDs, Shah Md. Sohel Khurshid and Mohammad Iqbal Rezwan, SEVPs, took part in the conference. All the Heads of Divisions, Departments, Units, and Principals of MBTI, the Heads of Regional Offices, the Heads of Branches, the Managers of Operations and credit in Charge of the Branches, the Heads of Sub-Branches, and the Officials of the Risk Management Division of MBPLC, totaling 421 officials, attended the conference using a hybrid system.
