Mercantile Bank PLC donated 10 Power Tillers at Faridganj in Chandpur on Sunday, reads a press release. 

Ten power tillers had been distributed to 10 farmers of Faridganj area from the special CSR fund of the Bank. Abdul Hannan, Sponsor Director of the bank handed over the power tillers to the farmers as the chief guest. 

A program held at Sholla Ashek Ali School & College premises in Sholla bazar, Faridganj. Kollol Kishor Sarkar, Upazila Agriculture Officer, was present as the special guest. Farid Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan, Bank’s Cumilla-Noakhali Regional Head presided over the ceremony1. 

Murad Hossain Chowdhury, Head of MBPLC Faridganj branch moderated the program. President and Secretary of Faridganj Press Club along with MBPLC HOB’s of Chandpur area, eminent businessmen and the farmers were also present on the occasion.
