The Barisal Divisional Branch Managers Conference of Janata Bank PLC was held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at a local hotel. The chief guest was the Chairman of the Bank, Muh. Fazlur Rahman. The Managing Director of the Bank, Md. Mujibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director, Md. Nazrul Islam were present as special guests. The conference, chaired by the General Manager of the Barisal Divisional Office, Alamgir Kabir Chowdhury, was attended by the Area Heads and other executives and branch managers of the Barisal Division. In addition, the Company Secretary of the Head Office, Md. Abdul Alim Khan and the Deputy General Manager of the MD’s Secretariat, A. K. M. Monir Chowdhury were present. At the conference, the Honorable Chairman and MD of the Bank gave instructions to take conscious and effective measures to increase the collection of classified loans and deposits, including customer service, in the current competitive banking sector.
