The 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Islami Commercial Insurance PLC was held on 31 July 2025 at the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh (IDEB) Bhaban in Kakrail, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by Mr Touseef Mashrurul Karim, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Among the members of the Board of Directors present were Ms Nusrat Jahan Tania, Mr Md Ashik Hossain, and Mr Mohammed Ayub Hossain. Chief Executive Officer Mr Qazi Mukarram Dastagir, Company Secretary Mr Md Akhtaruzzaman, and Chief Financial Officer Mr A.K.M. Motaque Ahmed Khan also attended the meeting. In addition, several shareholders, including Mr Md Rezaul Karim, Mr Niaz Ahmed, Mr Azmat Niaz, and Mr Hasib Ahmed, were present.
During the meeting, the audited financial statements and directors’ report for the year ended 31 December 2024 were approved. The Board announced a 10% cash dividend for shareholders. The shareholders expressed optimism that the company’s management would continue their committed efforts to deliver improved performance in the future.
