Islami Bank holds discussion on International Mother Language Day

Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC organized a discussion and doa program on the occasion of Mohan Shaheed  Dibosh and International Mother Language Day on Wednesday at a virtual platform, reads a press release.

Dr. Tanveer Ahmad, Vice Chairman of the bank addressed the program as chief guest.

Monirul Moula, Managing Director & CEO of the bank presided over the program while Mohammad Solaiman, FCA, Chairman, Audit Committee, Professor Dr. Saleh Jahur, Chairman, Risk Management Committee, Jaynal Abedin and Professor Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam, director of the bank addressed the program as a special guest. 

Qaisar Ali, Additional Managing Director, addressed the welcome speech and Maolana Obaid Ullah Hamzah, Chairman, Shariah Supervisory Committee of the bank, conducted doa-munajat. 

Professor Dr. Sirajul Karim, Syed Abu Asad, Quamrul Hasan, Professor Fashiul Alam, Khurshid-Ul-Alam, Nasir Uddin, FCMA, Directors of the bank, J.Q.M. Habibullah, FCS and Altaf Hossain, Additional Managing Directors, along with top executives, Head of Zones, Branch Incumbents and Sub-branch Incharges of the bank attended the program. 

Earlier in the morning, the bank paid deep tributes to the martyrs by placing floral wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar.
