Bashundhara MD honours TRUB Smart Performance Award 2024

Sayem Sobhan Anveer, Managing Director (MD) of Bashundhara Group received the Global Brands ‘TRUB Smart Performance Award-2024’ for outstanding contribution to the housing and jewellery industry. 

The award was presented at a discussion and cultural event organized by Television Reporters Unity of Bangladesh (TRUB) titled ‘International Mother Language Day and Smart Bangladesh’ at a hotel in the capital on Wednesday.

Imdadul Haque Milon, director of East West Media Group and editor-in-chief of Kaler Kantha, received the award on behalf of Bashundhara Group MD. 

Lands Minister Narayan Chandra Chanda was the chief guest.

A number of people were recognized for their contributions in different fields, including the distinguished Rabindra Sangeet artiste Rezwana Choudhury Bannya for his musical contribution, the courageous freedom fighter Ahsan Ullah Moni for his cultural contribution, and Mohiuddin Maharaj, the Member of Parliament for the Pirojpur-2 Constituency for human welfare.

The event was presided over by TRAB India Bangladesh Global Friendship Forum President and Chief Advisor Reduan Khandkar, inaugurated by former Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan MP.

Capital Development Authority Chairman Anisur Rahman Miah, BGMEA President Faruque Hassan, Bangladesh Television Director General Dr. Jahangir Alam and others were the special guests.
