Investor Roundtable Discussion with Dr. Anisuzzaman and BSEC Chairman

B Mirror Desk: The decline in market prices within the capital market negatively impacts investors, creating challenges for investor organizations. In response, the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) is organizing a meeting to discuss these issues with stakeholders. Key attendees will include Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Dr. Anis Sangsal and BSEC official Chowdhury Khandaker Rashed Masud.

This meeting is scheduled for May 29 at 12 PM, as announced in a press release by BSEC’s Public Relations Department and Assistant Spokesperson Md. Mohaiminul Ssap. The release emphasized BSEC’s commitment to the sustainable development and reform of the capital market, highlighting the government’s dedication to these goals. BSEC is optimistic that meaningful reform can be achieved through the active participation of market participants. The ongoing reform process aims to create a transparent and peaceful capital market, recognizing that general investors are essential to its vitality.

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has announced plans to convene a meeting with the General Capital Market Investors Congress to discuss the current state of the country’s capital market. This initiative will be led by BSEC, with Chief Advisor Special Assistant Dr. Anis Bhot Chowdhury providing insights on energy efficiency. BSEC President Khandaker Rashed Maqsood will also be in attendance.

The meeting aims to facilitate a dialogue with representatives from the general investors’ centers regarding various capital market issues. Participation from the five general investors’ centers is strongly encouraged. The meeting will address decisions related to voting rights and the involvement of general voters.
