Trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended on a positive note on Tuesday, with all major index advancing and daily turnover rising above Tk 11.29 billion.
According to DSE data, the benchmark DSEX index gained 41.34 points to close at 5,898. The DSES index, which tracks Shariah-based stocks, rose 6.73 points to 1,203, while the DS30 index advanced 11.16 points to 2,220.
Total turnover reached Tk 11.29 billion, up from Tk 9.67 billion in the previous trading session.
A total of 393 companies traded shares and mutual fund units during the session. Of them, 294 issues advanced, 58 declined, and 41 remained unchanged, reflecting broad-based buying interest in the market.
