The price–earnings (P/E) ratio of the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), increased in the outgoing week (December 7–11).
According to the DSE’s weekly market review, the P/E ratio rose by 0.69 percent during the period.
Data show that at the beginning of the week, the DSE’s P/E ratio stood at 8.7 points, while it increased to 8.76 points by the end of the week. As a result, the P/E ratio of the DSE rose by 0.06 points, or 0.69 percent, over the week.
