CA meets 14 political party leaders at Jamuna

Today, July 26, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus met with representatives of 14 political parties.  The chief adviser’s press wing was informed that the parties’ political leaders started the negotiations at the State Guesthouse Jamuna at approximately 5:00 p.m.

The political figures participating in the discussion comprise Aminul Haque Tipu Biswas from the National People’s Front; Mostafa Jamal Haider representing the 12-party alliance; Maulana Abdul Majed Athari of the Nizam-e-Islam Party; Maulana Yusuf Ashraf from the Khelafat Majlis; Fariduzzaman Farhad, who is the Chairman of the NPP; Syed Ehsanul Huda, the Chairman of the Bangladesh Jatiya Dal; Mushtaq Hossain of JaSaD; Bobby Hajjaj from the Nationalist Democratic Movement; Shamim Haider, the Secretary General of the Zaker Party; Mufti Sakhawat Hossain Raji, Secretary General of the Islami Oikya Jote; Rafiqul Islam Bablu, the Chairman of the Bhasani Janashakti Party; Mostafizur Rahman Iran, the Chairman of the Bangladesh Labour Party; Masud Rana, Coordinator of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist); and Manjurul Islam Afandi from Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam.

On 22 July, CA previously met with representatives from four political parties, which included BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, National Citizens Party (NCP), and Islami Andolan Bangladesh.

The next day, he convened a meeting with leaders from 13 political parties and alliances.
