DSE’s P/E ratio declines 0.65% in outgoing week

The overall price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) declined by 0.65% during the outgoing week (June 21–25), according to the bourse’s weekly market review.

The data showed that the DSE’s market-wide P/E ratio stood at 9.16 points at the beginning of the week and fell to 9.10 points by the close of trading.

As a result, the P/E ratio decreased by 0.06 points, or 0.65%, over the week, reflecting a slight decline in the market’s overall valuation
