BKB employees’ union holds dhaka divisional conference

The Dhaka Divisional Conference 2026 and tree plantation programme of Bangladesh Krishi Bank Employees’ Union (CBA) B-985 was held on September 16 at the Staff College auditorium of Bangladesh Krishi Bank in Mirpur, Dhaka.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the tree plantation programme by planting a sapling at the Staff College complex.

Speaking at the programme, the state minister said the current government is working to restore the dignity and rights of disadvantaged people.

The event was chaired by CBA President Foyez Uddin Ahmed. Special guests included Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal President Anwar Hossain, BNP Executive Committee Assistant Labour Affairs Secretary Firozuzzaman Mamun Molla, Bangladesh Krishi Bank Dhaka Division General Manager Golam Md Arif, and Staff College Principal A.H.M. Mahbubul Baset Bhuiyan.

Sramik Dal Treasurer Md Rafiqul Islam, Publicity and Publication Secretary Manjurul Islam Manju, Convener Kazi Shah Alam Raja and Member Secretary Md Kamruzzaman, among others, also attended the programme.

Officeers Welfare Association Chief Coordinator Md Zahid Hossain, Deputy General Manager (DGM), Convener Syed Liaquat Hossain, DGM, and General Secretary Nure Alam Shawon were present as honoured guests.

CBA General Secretary Md Miraj Hossain moderated the programme and delivered a special speech.

At the conclusion of the conference, a new Dhaka divisional committee was announced, with Mohammad Ali appointed as president and Md Shahidul Islam as general secretary.
