BIA awarded 51 merit students

MM Rahmatullah: Bangladesh Insurance Association has awarded to 51 merit students. This scholarship is provided by BIA Foundation. As a part of educational development, this scholarship has been given to the students of Bima family.
The scholarship was given in the hall room of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the chamber building of Motijheel on March 4. Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, Secretary of Financial Institutions Department was the chief guest on the occasion, Mohammad Zainul Bari, Chairman of Insurance Development and Control Authority was the special guest, Bangladesh Insurance Association President Sheikh Kabir Hossain presided over the meeting.

The 51 scholarship recipients are children of officers and employees working in the insurance industry. They study in colleges, universities, engineering and medical. This is the second time that BIA Foundation has given merit scholarship. The scholarship was awarded for the first time in 2019. This activity was stopped due to Corona.

In addition to the scholarship recipients, the chairman, chief executive and senior executives of various insurance companies were present on the occasion.

Bangladesh Insurance Association’s Merit Scholarship is a supportive and exceptional program for the development and expansion of the insurance industry. Bima family members have praised the scholarship program. This will encourage the talented children of insurance families to involve themselves in the insurance industry in the future
