Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) has won the first prize for the best innovative initiative in a competition titled ‘E-Governance and Innovative Initiative’ held among the country’s non-bank financial institutions. The institution’s innovative idea titled ‘Automating the Document Return Process’ achieved this award in the non-bank financial institution category. On July 6, this first-place award was handed over at the prize distribution ceremony of the competition held with the participation of departments and agencies under the Financial Institutions Division, at the multi-purpose hall room of the Ministry of Finance in the capital. Hon’ble Minister of the Ministry of Finance and Planning, Mr. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, who was present as the chief guest of the ceremony presided over by the Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Mr. Nazma Mobarek, handed over the award to the Managing Director (Current Charge) of BHBFC, Mr. Md. Noore Alam Sarder.
