The government has decided to continue providing cash incentives for exports of 43 categories of products and services in the 2026-27 fiscal year, aiming to support the country’s export sector.
Bangladesh Bank issued a circular on Sunday announcing the continuation of the export incentive scheme, which will remain effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
Under the central bank’s directive, exporters will receive cash incentives ranging from 0.3 percent to 10 percent, depending on the product or service category. A total of 43 export product and service sectors have been brought under the incentive programme.
The circular also stipulates that exporters must complete an audit conducted by an external auditor or audit firm appointed by the respective bank before receiving the cash incentives against their export proceeds.
The incentive scheme is intended to enhance the competitiveness of Bangladesh’s exports and encourage continued growth in key export sectors.
