Bangladesh Monospool Paper Manufacturing Limited has recently merged with Pearl Paper and Board Mills Limited. As the two companies merged, the capital of the company increased almost 4 times.
Pursuant to the direction of the High Court and the approval of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, the two industrial projects of Bangladesh Monospool Paper Manufacturing Limited and Pearl Paper and Board Mills Ltd. were merged.

It is reported that before the merger, the paid-up capital of the company on December 31, 2023, was Tk 9 crore 38 lakh 88 thousand 256, and after the merger on March 31, 2024, the paid-up capital of Bangladesh Monospool Paper Manu: Company Ltd stood at Tk 34 crore 10 lakh 51 thousand 16 money.
According to the information provided by the company, as the paid-up capital of the company increases, there is a rule to disclose the comparative picture of the financial statements diluted in the light of the current increased capital. In this case, the company’s 3rd quarter EPS for 09 months from July 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024, was taka 2.71 as against taka 1.32 in the same period of the previous year. That is, the EPS has increased by 105% in the current third quarter.
As per earlier paid-up capital of taka 9,38,88,256 (nine crore thirty-eight lakh eight thousand two hundred and fifty six) or 93,88,825 shares EPS would have been a comparable figure for the current third quarter July 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024, 09 months period. 9.83 as against EPS of taka 4.79 in the same period last year. In this case, too, the EPS has increased by 5.04% taka i.e. 105% in the current quarter.
During the current third quarter July 2023 to March 2024, 09 months, the revenue of the company was Tk 75.83 crore and net profit was Tk 9.23 crore as against the same period of the previous year, the revenue was Tk 60.26 crore and the net profit was Tk 4.50 crore. Money Revenue and profit have increased by Tk 15.57 crore and Tk 4.73 crore i.e. 26% and 105% respectively.
