BRACNet Clinches Prestigious Huawei Datacom Partner Award in Colombo

B.Mirror Report: BRACNet Limited, one of Bangladesh’s pioneering Internet Service Providers (ISP) and digital solution archetypes, has been honored with the “2025 Fast-Growing Datacom Solutions Partner” award by global technology giant Huawei. The accolade was presented at the Huawei South Asia Partner Summit 2026, held recently in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The award recognizes BRACNet’s exceptional growth trajectory, operational excellence, and accelerated deployment of advanced data communication architectures across Bangladesh. Mr. Arif Hossain, Head of Operations, and Mr. Shawkat Akbar Munshi, Head of ISP Operations, received the award on behalf of the company at the prestigious regional gathering.

Driving National Digital Architecture
The recognition highlights BRACNet’s strategic alignment with global infrastructure standards to deliver enterprise-grade, secure, and resilient networking solutions. By leveraging state-of-the-art datacom setups, the company has consistently optimized internet protocol networks for corporate, small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), and residential segments nationwide.
Accepting the award, BRACNet management expressed gratitude to its technology partners, dedicated workforce, and clientele for their continued trust, noting that the achievement underscores a long-term commitment to fueling innovative connectivity infrastructures that cater to the country’s rising digital requirements.

30 years of Connectivity: The Journey of BRACNet
Established in 1996 as the internal IT and ISP wing of BRAC, the world’s largest non-governmental organization, BRACNet was born out of a fundamental objective: to bridge the digital divide in Bangladesh. Over the last three decades, it evolved from an early internet facilitator into a highly robust, nationwide technology powerhouse. At present, BRACNet operates an extensive network spanning all 64 districts and covering over 410 Upazilas with multi-tiered redundancy, built upon high-capacity fiber-optic backbones and licensed radio spectrum.
Moving far beyond basic broadband delivery, BRACNet’s infrastructure has adapted to offer an ecosystem of integrated IT solutions:

  • Enterprise Connectivity
  • Home/Retail Connectivity
  • Data Center & Security
  • Cloud & Managed Services
  • IP Telephony (IPTSP)
  • Software Services & more

As South Asia’s tech landscape moves toward greater automation and intelligent networking, BRACNet’s recognition in Colombo signals its emergence not just as a regional bandwidth distributor, but as a critical systems integrator capable of deploying world-class, secure digital ecosystems.
