Bogura Correspondent: Shibganj Upazila Engineer Sihadul Islam has been appointed as the first official of the newly formed Mokamtola Upazila in Bogura.

The appointment was made through an order signed by Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Chief Engineer Belal Hossain on Thursday. Under the order, Sihadul Islam will continue serving as Shibganj Upazila Engineer while also taking additional charge as Mokamtola Upazila Engineer.

The move is being viewed as an important step toward launching the administrative activities of the newly established upazila.

After receiving the responsibility, Sihadul Islam said he would make his best efforts to help develop Mokamtola as a new upazila.
