Al-Arafah Islami Bank Distributes Iftar Items to Sub-Staff

Al-Arafah Islami Bank, one of the country’s leading Shariah-based banks, has distributed Iftar items among its sub-staff at various levels to mark the holy month of Ramadan. On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, the Bank’s Managing Director and CEO, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan, inaugurated the distribution program at a ceremony held at the Bank’s Head Office.

At the event, Mohd. Rafat Ullah Khan stated that Ramadan embodies the values of restraint, self-purification, compassion, and mutual care. Supporting the Bank’s staff and fostering a sense of solidarity within the organization are integral to these principles. He expressed hope that this initiative would further strengthen harmony, cooperation, and the spirit of brotherhood among the Bank family.

Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank Md. Fazlur Rahman, Md. Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan, and Mohammed Hossain, along with heads of various divisions and senior officials of the Bank were also present at the program.

As part of the significance of Ramadan and its social responsibility, Al-Arafah Islami Bank has been consistently undertaking initiatives that play a vital role in the welfare of its officers and employees.

Notably, alongside its Shariah-based banking operations, Al-Arafah Islami Bank continues to implement various programs in education, health, disaster relief, and humanitarian aid as part of its broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
