Action against the corrupt businessman, not against the institution- Advisor Asif

Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, adviser to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Labor and Employment, said that legal action will be taken against the corrupt businessmen but the government will make arrangements to keep those businesses running. He said, many people’s livelihood is involved with the organization. And this government has no bias towards anyone.

Asif said this while speaking as the chief guest at the consumer rights conference organized at TSC auditorium of the university on Saturday morning.

The labor adviser said, “The lives of 70,000 officials and employees are involved with Beximco.” That means, the lives of 70,000 families are involved. So the government is helping to keep that institution running; Arranged to give them loans.

He also said, ‘The person who committed the crime laundered money using business establishments and good relations with the government; We will bring them under trial.

But the government is helping to keep the businesses active. If the youth want to bring products from the farmers and producers and deliver them directly to the consumers, the government will give them all the necessary support, said this advisor. He also said that the Consumer Rights Act is in the process of being reformed.
