Standard Islami Bank Hosts Town Hall Meeting 2026

Under the theme “Horizons  Redefine Tomorrow,” Standard Islami Bank PLC. held its Town Hall Meeting 2026 on 7 August 2026 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel, Dhaka, bringing together Branch Heads from across the network alongside senior executives from the Head Office.

The meeting was presided over by the Bank’s Managing Director, Riad Mahmud Chowdhury, with Additional Managing Director Md. Siddiqur Rahman delivering the welcome address. The program centered on an interactive session featuring in-depth discussions on the Bank’s business priorities, leadership development and long-term growth strategy.

During the open forum, Branch Heads shared their field-level insights, highlighting business experiences, operational challenges and emerging opportunities, and put forward a range of recommendations to strengthen performance across the network.

In his address, Managing Director Riad Mahmud Chowdhury assured participants that their feedback would be given due consideration in shaping the Bank’s forward agenda. He underscored the value of active participation, continuous self-development and collective effort in executing the Bank’s strategic initiatives and achieving sustainable growth in the years ahead.

He further urged teams at both the Head Office and branch levels to work in close coordination, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to Shari’ah compliance and superior, technology-driven banking services as the foundation of its continued development. He concluded by offering clear guidance and direction for the successful delivery of the Bank’s business objectives.
