Continuous voting took place from 8 am to 4 pm yesterday. Out of 300 parliamentary constituencies, voting was held yesterday in 299 constituencies. Voting in Naogaon-2 constituency was suspended due to the death of a candidate.

At the end of the day’s polling, Election Commission Secretary Md. Jahangir Alam announced the result. Full results of each asana were obtained from him. In the early morning, he concluded the program by mentioning that the results of 298 constituencies had been announced.

Out of 44 political parties registered with the Election Commission, 28 participated in this election. Awami League’s main political rival BNP and several anti-government parties are not in the election.
