Manarat International University Acting Vice-Chancellor Abdus Sabur Khan hosted a courtesy meeting with former Secretary of Bangladesh Government, poets, literary figures, cultural personalities and prominent people of the society at the office of the Vice-Chancellor at Gulshan campus of the university on Wednesday.

University Registrar Moazzam Hossain was present among others at this time.

The dignitaries who came to pay courtesy call are former Secretary of Bangladesh Government, Bangla Academy Literary Award winning poet Asad Mannan, famous playwright and novelist Ferdous Hasan, Aristopharma director Mamun Wadud and former secretary and former registrar of Manarat International University Monirul Islam and others.

At this time, they congratulated Abdus Sabur Khan for taking charge of Vice-Chancellor of Manarat International University and exchanged skills on various issues.

Poet Asad Mannan said, “Manarat International University is a reputed university in Bangladesh. Prof. Sabur Khan is a renowned personality in teaching and research. I am happy that he has taken charge of this university. I hope, under his leadership, this university will improve further.”

Playwright and novelist Ferdous Hasan said, “Abdus Sabur Khan is an efficient and experienced administrator. I hope he will take this university forward.”

Aristopharma director Mamun Wadud said, “Dr. Sabur Khan is a qualified and efficient educationist. I hope he will create a good environment for the students of this university.”

Former secretary and former registrar of Manarat International University Monirul Islam said, “Professor Khan is an honest and dedicated person. I hope he will do good for this university.”

At that time, Vice-Chancellor Abdus Sabur Khan said, “Manarat International University is a reputed university. I will work to make this university better. I hope, with everyone’s cooperation, I will be able to achieve my goal.”
