World Entrepreneurship Week Bangladesh 2023 launched

BM Report: The 16th annual Global Entrepreneurship Week has started with the aim of empowering entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. It will be observed from 13 to 19 November. More than 200 events will be held in 30 districts of 8 divisions of the country with the participation of more than 78 partner institutions. News notification

Educational institutions, chambers of commerce, associations, government agencies, international organizations and youth organizations will participate in the week-long programme. It is expected that more than one lakh people will directly participate in these events. Apart from this, 3 million more people will be connected online.

The week-long festival officially started on November 13 with an opening ceremony organized by GEN Bangladesh. Startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders, mentors, investors and enthusiastic participants have come together in this grand gathering.

Managing Director of GEN Bangladesh, Sabur Khan extended warm greetings and sincere thanks to all present on the occasion. He emphasized the importance of everyone’s cooperation to strengthen the entrepreneurial support ecosystem within Bangladesh.

FBCCI Innovation and Research Center Chief Executive Officer Bikarn Kumar Ghosh, Ezermartz Limited Managing Director Zereen Khan, Institute of Hotel Management and Hospitality Managing Director Rubina Hossain, Inspiring Bangladesh Managing Director Imran Fahad spoke on the occasion.
