Shahjalal Islami Bank Sponsored to Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. provided sponsorship of Tk. 15.00 lakh (fifteen lac) to the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) in order to organize “Hajj and Umrah Fair-2026”. On 21 July 2026, at a function organized at the Corporate Head Office of the Bank, the Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, handed over the sponsorship cheque to Mr. Syed Golam Sarwer, the President of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB). Among others, the Secretary General of the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB) Mr. Farid Ahmed Mazumder, the Additional Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Abdullah Al-Mamun, the Deputy Managing Directors Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam and Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA, the SEVP & Company Secretary of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. Mr. Md. Abul Bashar and the Chief Executive Officer of Shahjalal Islami Bank Foundation and In-charge of Public Relations Department of the Bank Mr. K. M. Harunur Rashid were present while handing over the cheque.

The three-day long “Hajj and Umrah Fair-2026” will be held from 30 July to 01 August 2026, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC), Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon, Dhaka. The people wishing to perform the holy Hajj and Umrah, various agencies, numerous visitors and their relatives will visit the fair.
