DSEX Falls as Most Stocks End in Red

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s primary stock market, saw a decline in the key price index on the final business day of the week. 307 firms’ share prices fell on this day. In terms of money, the overall turnover decreased in comparison to the prior trading session.

The data shows that on Thursday, December 4, DSEX, the company’s primary index, fell 40.92 points to 4,886 points.

Furthermore, the DS30 index dropped by 6.67 points to 1,891 points, while the DSES index dropped by 9.61 points to 1,024 points. Today, shares and units worth Tk 364.37 crore were traded on the DSE. In the previous session, the turnover was Tk 405.41 crore.

A total of 385 companies saw trading of their shares and units on the DSE. Among those, the prices of 34 companies increased, while 307 companies saw a decline. Prices of 44 companies remained unchanged.
