Agrani Bank PLC held a strategic meeting on Wednesday (July 15) to review and accelerate the resolution of pending legal cases involving the bank.
The meeting, organised by the bank’s Law Division, took place at its head office conference room, with officials from branches across the country joining virtually.
Abu Saleh Md. Mohiuddin Khan, NDC, Additional Secretary (Audit and Law Wing) of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, attended the meeting as the chief guest.
The session was chaired by Agrani Bank Managing Director Md. Anowarul Islam.
Deputy Managing Directors Parsuma Alam, Md. Abul Bashar, and Rubana Parveen attended as special guests.
The meeting focused on monitoring pending cases, ensuring their speedy disposal and strengthening legal management across the bank.
Among those present were General Manager (Law) Mohammad Fazlul Karim, Chief Law Officer Mashiur Rahman Chowdhury, general managers from the head office, circle and regional heads, senior executives, branch managers and officials responsible for handling legal cases. Participants joined both in person and virtually.
