PE Ratio Rises Slightly on DSE in Outgoing Week

The overall price-earnings ratio (PE ratio) for the country’s primary stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), saw an increase in the past week (August 31-September 4). During this timeframe, the PE ratio of the DSE rose by 5 percent.

This data was disclosed in the DSE’s weekly market review.

As per the report, the PE ratio of the DSE stood at 10.67 points at the start of the outgoing week. By the week’s conclusion, the PE ratio reached 10.73 points. Consequently, the PE ratio of the DSE experienced a rise of 0.06 points or 0.56 percent throughout
