The board of directors of Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC, a publicly listed bank, has made the decision to acquire a multi-storey building situated in Motijheel, the capital, to serve as its head office.
This information was disclosed by sources from the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
As per the source, the authorities of Dutch-Bangla Bank will be purchasing a 21.50-storey building in Motijheel. The total area of the building is 207,340 square feet, which includes 176,300 square feet of usable floor space and 31,040 square feet designated as basement space.
The acquisition of this building will cost 1,162,160,000 taka, translating to a price of 49,012 taka per square foot. However, the cost per square foot for the floor area, excluding the basement, will be 57,641 taka.
