Workshop on ‘Empowering Women Entrepreneurs of the Bank through Strengthening the Customer Service’

Southeast Bank PLC. successfully organized an exclusive workshop titled “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs of the Bank through Strengthening the Customer Service” at the bank’s Training Institute recently.

The workshop was graced with insightful direction from the Chairman of Southeast Bank PLC., M. A. Kashem. In his address, he emphasized that more women-centric banking services must be bolstered to bring the maximum number of women under banking coverage, enabling them to establish themselves as self-reliant members of society.

During the session, distinguished members of the Board of Directors—Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Engr. Khandker Badrul Hassan, Nur Nahar Tarin, Md. Rafiqul Islam (Nominee of Asia Insurance PLC.), along with Honorable Sponsor Shareholder Sultana Kashem, shared their valuable insights and strategic suggestions for strengthening the bank’s customer service.

Md. Khalid Mahmood Khan, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, delivered his Introductory Speech on the Empowering Women Entrepreneurship Policy of the Bank.

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Sayma Banu, the Head of the Training Institute, to the Honorable Board of Directors. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Additional Managing Director & COO of Southeast Bank PLC.

The program glittered by the presence of Md. Mahbub Alam, Additional Managing Director & CRO; Mohammed Rashedul Amin, Deputy Managing Director; and Sekander E-Azam, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank.

Southeast Bank PLC. remains committed to fostering inclusive growth and empowering women entrepreneurs through enhanced customer service and dedicated training initiatives. A total number of 70 (seventy) Executives and Officials from the Head Office and Different Branches were present during the workshop.
