The country’s main capital market, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading on Thursday (July 10), the last working day of the week, amid a rise in price indices. Share prices of most companies have increased.
This information was revealed by DSE sources.
According to sources, in the first one and a half hours of DSE trading until 12 pm, the DSE’s main index or ‘DSEX’ rose by 40 points to 5,075 points.
The Shariah index or ‘DSES’ rose by 3.74 points to 1,097 points and the ‘DS-30’ index rose by 8.75 points to 1,902 points.
A total of Tk 352.51 crore worth of shares and units were traded on the DSE during the period under review.
Of the companies traded, 244 increased in price, 80 decreased and 66 remained unchanged in share prices.
