BM Desk : In order to safeguard the weaving industry and generate job opportunities, a weaving machine along with a training program for prisoners has been initiated at the Tangail District Jail. The official inauguration took place on Saturday afternoon. Farida Akhtar, Advisor to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, officiated the training launch.

The setup of looms and the loom training program were made possible through funding from the Probation Office, with implementation by the Tangail District Administration and District Jail.
